In 1964 screenwriter and producer Gene Roddenbery developed an idea for a science fiction television series called Star Trek and in doing so asked us to look to the future and the wonders of the Star Trek universe. To me Star Trek has always been about the wonders of space exploration, the people, the adventures, Starships and technology.
The data base
All material within this Web site including text, images and sounds are taken from the master library computer system at Starfleet headquarters, the administrative center of Starfleet command. This data base contains information on the Federation Starships, Starfleet personnel, Archive, and Astronomy.

Please select from any of the links at the left hand side of the Web page to view information from within the data base.
